THE WINTHROP SOCIETY LENDING LIBRARY OF CD-ROMs

The Officers of the Winthrop Society are very happy to be able to offer this lending library of CDs to our membership. Only active members and lifetime members of the Society may borrow CDs. If you'd like to look into becoming a member, please visit our Members page!

TERMS

• A member may borrow up to 3 different CDs at a time.
• The loan itself is free, but our postage and packing fee is $5 for each CD, paid in advance.
• The term of the loan is 1 month, starting on the day we mail the CD first class, and terminating on the day the member mails it back first class, as verified by the postmark dates. Loans may only be mailed within the USA and Canada.
• Late returns are penalized $0.25/day, to be paid before another CD may be borrowed. The maximum penalty is $15 (after two months lateness). If the member loses a CD, this same maximum penalty of $15 will be assessed. These penalties must be paid before further borrowings, but we will never dun our members for fees owed, nor will any library affairs affect a member's status and standing in the Society.

Further terms, and information on whom to contact to arrange a loan of our CD-ROMs, Members may visit our Members Only area (if you are a Member and do not have the necessary User ID and password, contact the Registrar with your name and Member ID# and you will be furnished with it)!
